First and foremost we, (as in Ron and Patti Vaillant), are truth
seekers. We search out and find truth; then with the best of our
ability, trusting in Gods power, we walk in that truth.
We will go wherever that truth leads us. For truth leads to God
and eternal life. We will share that truth with all who will hear.
We believe:
Creation, the fall, and salvation.
-That the entire Bible, particularly the KJV, is the Word of God
to man. That it is divinely ordained by God through his servants.
It is the instructor by which we are to live our lives by. Everything
is to be measured by it regarding human decisions and life. Being
a spiritual book, we need Gods spirit to teach us its truths.
II Tim. 3:16; 2:15
-That God, specifically Jesus, created our world in 7 literal
days. John 1:1-14 and Gen. 1:1
-That mankind was created perfect, with the amazing gift of free
will, and was in total harmony with its creator. Gen. 1:26-28
-That Satan, and 1/3 of the heavenly angels, have openly rebelled
against God and his government. That Satan wants to be God. This
rebellion is a mystery and should never have happened since God
is love, and his government is founded on love. This rebellion
is called sin. Is. 14:12-17: Ez. 28:13-19 Rev. 12:3,4, 7-9
-That mankind has fallen into sin by Satans deceptions and lies
about God and his character. That each of us have a natural bent
to sin as a result, and all mankind has sinned, except Jesus Christ.
Gen. 3; Rom. 3:10-19; 23; 7:18-23
-Sin is transgression of Gods law, as well as failing to do good.
I John 3:4
Rom. 14:23; James 4:17
-The penalty of sin is death. In the future, God will destroy
sin with fire and if we are allied to sin we will be destroyed
by fire as well. This destruction is complete and final. The unsaved
will become ash upon the ground, and will cease to exist and burn.
This is called the second death, and sin will never exist again.
Ezek. 18:4; Is. 5:24; 47:13-15; Mt. 10:28; Ps. 37:20; 68:2; Mal.
4:1-3; Ez. 28:18; Rev. 2:11; 20:4-6,9,10,12-15; 21:6-8; Nahum
1:8-10,
-This sin consuming fire is brought down by God on the face of
the earth and will not burn for eternity, but will go out. The
Bibles use of forever, as in Rev. 14:11 and Rev. 20:10 must be
understood in the manner the Bible uses forever. Which is a period
of time until it is ended. Ex. 21:6; I Sam. 1:22; Jonah 2:6; Jude
7; II Peter 2:6
